With 6.1 million visits received in 2023 (Turismo Latam, 2024), which represented an increase of 22% compared to 2022 reports, Orlando is one of the most touristic cities in the United States. Most have an answer to that interest: Orlando’s parks are the most famous in the world, and now there’s one more reason to visit them, with the recent opening of DreamWorks Land, a new attraction located within the Universal Resort Orlando complex.

What is DreamWorks Land?

This is an attraction within Universal Resort Orlando that is dedicated to the characters created by DreamWorks Animation for some of the most recognized films in this format. Which ones come to mind? We help you refresh memories:

According to the newspaper El Espectador, this section of the park presents “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular”, a new night show in the lagoon; and “Hogwarts Always,” a castle screening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.

Trolls Trollercoaster

A roller coaster in which visitors, aboard a caterpillar Caterbus, experience unforgettable emotions with Poppy, Tiny and the twins Satin and Chenille, trying to escape from some creepy spiders.

DreamWorks Land: Po Live!

You’ll be able to talk to Po, the character from Kung Fu Panda, via an animated digital screen and receive his martial arts guidance, while at the same time taking care of his mischievous little cousin and preparing snacks.

Shrek’s Swamp Meet

Meet the characters from one of their favorite childhood movies: Sherk, Fionna, and Donkey.

Other park attractions

DreamWorks Land also offers some entertainment areas for babies, and shows and shows during the day, interactive experiences, among other attractions. For example, every day there is the DreamWorks Imagination Celebration, a great show for the whole family, with most of the characters of this creative studio.

On the other hand, the park presents a lagoon show, a display of technologies and special effects, with 228 fountains reaching 40 meters in height, 4K projection mapping and more than 600 drones, which engages visitors in an exhibition that presents some of the best moments from films such as Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Jaws, Minions and more.

The cost to enter DreamWorks Land is the same as Universal Resort Orlando, as it is a section within this complex. The park offers some special packages , as well as special tickets for international visitors.

One more reason to visit the city of Orlando and, incidentally, want to invest in Miami and South Florida to have these and other attractions close to you throughout the year.
